The Last Few Miles Before the Walk!
Only a few days left before THE day. The ASM’s employees are excited and looking forward to welcoming you on the Quays of the Old-Port, with the hundreds of registered walkers! You haven’t reached your fundraising objectives yet? Here are a few ideas to help you:
• Email your entire contact list: remind your friends and acquaintances about the
RONA Walk for Memories on Sunday May 30th.
• It’s the time of Hockey Series: organize a Hockey Night at each game, serve
beverages and popcorn to your friends and ask them to make a donation for the
RONA Walk for Memories.
Be creative, use your imagination and let us know about your success stories! |

ASM’s Open House
In order to facilitate the logistic on the day of the Walk, we are inviting you to bring your donations in advance at the Alzheimer Society of Montreal’s offices. Throughout next week, the employees will happily welcome you. Here’s the schedule:
• Tudesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 of May, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Friday May 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Make sure you have with you:
• your filled out donation form;
• all the cheques you have collected;
• all cash money you received.
Please note that we would prefer receiving cheques rather than cash money.
By bringing in your donations in advance, you will receive all you need for the registration for the day of the Walk. This way, no need to wait in line! |

Bazaar and Car wash at Résidence LaSalle
As part of the initiatives surrounding the RONA Walk for Memories, the staff of Résidence LaSalle has decided to organize a Grand Bazaar, on Saturday, June 5th, 2010. The profits will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. The event will take place between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You will be able to find:
• new and gently used items;
• artists and artisans;
• a car wash;
• and so much more!
The Résidence LaSalle is located at 1070 Shevchenko Boulevard in LaSalle.

Reminder
The ASM’s is reminding all registered walkers to dress up in blue at the RONA Walk for Memories! The cause of Alzheimer’s disease has its own color, and together we will form a great wave of solidarity!
